Timperley Country Fair

About The Timperley Country Fair

The Timperley Country Fair takes place in September each year. It is the largest one day event in Timperley and remains as popular as ever. The aim of the Timperley Country Fair is to provide an event suitable to all age groups and allow local charities and small businesses the opportunity to raise income for their activities and display information about their work. The Fair is run entirely by volunteers.

Craft Show...

The first Craft Show was held in 1992 and was introduced for three reasons

1.To give entrants enjoyment and an opportunity to display their handiwork.

2.To give enjoyment to Country Fair visitors, seeing other peoples handiwork.

3.To give an added dimension to the Country Fair.

The winner of each class receives a trophy (for the year) plus a certificate to keep. 2nd and 3rd place also receive a certificate. The two under 5 class winners each receive a medal, which they keep on a permanent basis.
